Volunteers applying for hardship assistance are under an obligation to provide full particulars of the hardship case to enable the Assessment Panel to make an informed and fair determination. This includes full disclosure of income, expenses and other forms of assistance available, sought, or received. It is the volunteer’s responsibility, through his or her association, to provide all relevant details regarding hardship circumstances, and receipts of proof of expenditure of assistance funds.
Processing of applications will be completed as quickly as possible. From receipt of a fully completed application, normal processing and decision should be made within 14 days.
Applications will be kept strictly confidential. No information regarding volunteers will be provided to anyone who is not directly involved in the assessment process without written consent from the volunteer, or unless required by law.
